US AMATEUR RADIO BAND PLAN
Project Orlan Radio // FCC Part 97 Region 2 allocations // N4RGJ

Authorized amateur bands for a US station in ITU Region 2. These are the FCC edges. What mode lives where inside a band is mostly the ARRL / local band plan, not federal law. License class still controls who may transmit where. This is a wall chart, not a license.

Higher millimeter-wave amateur allocations exist above that. Most bunker work stops at 70 cm or 23 cm.

Quick license picture
Technician: all VHF/UHF, limited HF (CW slices on 80/40/15, a little 10 m phone).
General: most of HF.
Extra: the leftover HF slivers at the bottom of several bands.
Novice/Advanced are legacy. Part 97 is the law. A band chart on a website is not.

2 m FM simplex: 146.520
2 m SSB calling: 144.200
70 cm FM calling: 446.000
